BPW Franklin Study Award Applications Closing Soon
Since 1987, BPW Franklin has presented a cash Study Award to assist  women in the local community striving to build on their potential.  The 2018 recipient will be a woman who has connections with Franklin or is a past or present resident of the Franklin area, and who is undertaking a course at a recognised University, Polytechnic or College of Education in New Zealand or retraining following an absence from employment.

The bursary is awarded to the woman who best shows she has achieved and is continuing to achieve in her chosen study and / or career, who shows she needs this monetary support to continue her studies, who contributes to her community through service such as volunteering to community groups and who has the personality to represent Franklin BPW and its ideals.

​The 2018 Study Award was $4,000. with a runner up award of $1,000 also available.

Young BPW
Young BPW is the information network for the next generation of leaders who are BPW members aged 35 years and under. The purpose of the network is to give this group of young women the support and encouragement of like-minded women.  It enables personal development, particularly in leadership, by giving them empowerment and exposure to a national and international networking platform. Monthly Meeting

Meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of the Month (Feb - Nov) at Franklin Club, 7 Station Rd Pukekohe from 6:30pm.
Dinner is a 2 course buffet dinner with tea and coffee, generally at a cost of $30. 
Members - if you are unable to attend a meeting, please remember an apology is require each time. It must be received by the Catering Convenor no later than 8pm on the Sunday before the meeting.  If you do not lodge your apology you will be charged for your dinner.  If you are bringing guests, please also advise the Catering Convenor by 8pm on the Sunday before the meeting.
